The possibility of edit the outline in both views (chart and list) is unique and very useful. It requires Rosetta, and I hope to see a Lion version.

I actually like this more than MindNode, since the mind map is much more customizable (both auto and by hand) once it is created.
I do wish there were keyboard shortcuts to create new siblings/children rather than having to alternate typing with clicks, though.
And while it is PPC, meaning it works absolutely fine on PowerPC and Intel macs alike via Rosetta, come OS X Lion this won't run.

Even though only PPC is specified, this does work on Intel Macs. However it is quite dated and the dev appears to only be active on his German blog. There are so many alternatives this likely is not worth the time it takes to download (and subsequently detele) it.

This app is a jewel : so simple, so smooth, so versatile. After having tested so many head-breaking and expensive "gaz-factory" competitors of MyMind, I can't believe that someone could invent and develop such a perfect app.
MyMind demonstrates that what is often missing is a clear vision from the developers, not the computer or the OS capacities.
I hope that the young developer of MyMind finally receives the money he deserves for this remarkable software.
Btw : the Tiere example provided with MyMind is very useful, and the help menu is both short and clear. They should definitely be used the first time.

I like this software.
It would be great if you could:
- make it Universal.
- allow editing in map view aswell.
- open-source this to let it continue developing.
